I got my name changed last week as some of you know & tomorrow is my bay! Big year for me tbh. Big moves in the career dept & i feel much better about the direction my life is going. Happy new year's y'all!

I reported a comment on Instagram underneath a news post about the first babies being born in Belgium in 2026. One of them was from an Afghan family. The comments literally called them vermin. Like, not even sugarcoated or dogwhistles, legit vermin.

Meta reviewed it and apparently calling people vermin does not break their rules.

Feel like every american movie ive saw recently is just trying to criticize the way the US is moving forward but without any real substance. The leo dicaprio movie weirds me out because it obviously depicts the military and oligarchs (the club guys) as fascists but it can't help itself and depict the rebel group as just a bunch of cringe hippies.

It's the time of the year in which you cannot throw anything away outside in The Netherlands because all the garbage bins have been barricaded by steel, otherwise they would be blown up by ~~domestic terrorists~~ firework enjoyers.

Let's see how many people will lose their hands and eyes, how many bus stops will explode and how many first responders will be attacked. Tradition.

Gotta love how many "experts" come out of the woodwork whenever a new conflict pops up. Even my favourite Ukraine war analysts who are usually rather reliable and cautious are now spouting bold claims without backing about something entirely out of their field of expertise.

Well multiple people died last night in The Netherlands. Dozens heavily injured. Several houses burned doen, a historical church in Amsterdam burned down, people had to be evacuated from their houses, first responders were attacked all night long.
