I’m in a bit of a pickle here!

I lost access to my XHS account because I reinstalled my phone OS. Since it asks to provide some mysterious identity ID I cannot quite get back in. However, I suppose this can be circumvented by using WeChat, which brought me a new trouble: my brand spanking new WeChat account is restricted since initial questions it asked got interrupted... 🙄

I just want to get back to XHS. It shouldn’t be this hard.

I guess I need WeChat restrictions lifted, and that requires someone who already is a seasoned WeChat user. Anybody who could help me out?

You should be able to go in your "chat" with wechat team and it should have a message talking about verification, and you should be able to complete it there.

There indeed are few messages, and I can start the process of removing restrictions, however, last step is asking for a friend’s number.
