A journey through 1980s sci-fi films, exploring the impact and relevance they had and still hold today, as told by the artist that made them.

This was quite enjoyable to watch. Plenty of interesting behind the scenes things about the making of the movies. There were also a few interesting movies that I have never even heard before.

There are 5 episodes, about 50 minutes each:

  • The Pioneers
  • Futuristic Effects
  • Dystopia
  • Welcome To The Machine
  • Space-Time

Looks interesting. Anyone aware of a way to watch this in the US?

Oh, didn’t know it’s geoblocked.

ARTE Germany’s YouTube channel has couple of the episodes. Is this geoblocked as well? https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhGeNYH-50KZ_rHCSzboNmQyWvat4q6um

Apple TV has it, but not sure if it’s available worldwide.

Seems to be available here as well, but might not be legal place: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9uqpjq

Australians can watch it here: https://freeview.com.au/watch-tv/shows/5a8af475-bd19-4b51-a348-68b1492bba38

EDIT: This place says they have worldwide rights, but they require account: https://www.harbour-rights.com/detail.php?id=10401
