Of course russia wants peace... so they can take a break and rebuild an army after being decimated by ukraine.

Of course russia wants peace...

a piece of this, and a piece of that, and a piece of every corner of Europe.

"We've got them right where we want them!" has been the NATO line since the war started.

Meanwhile, Europe's hemorrhaging it's domestic economy to keep feeding the front lines, while the rot of fascism extends into Germany, France, and the UK entirely unchecked.

We're looking at an entirely continent of White Nationalist governments inside the next three years with the rate at which "liberal" governments are shedding internal support.

...which is why we have to defeat the nationalists and fascists at home as hard and fast as possible.

Too many contradictory statements on Russia. One minute we're hearing that they want peace because they're being battered in Ukraine, and the next we're hearing that Putin has no interest in peace.

I also don't see how Russia is simultaneously collapsing domestically under the strain of war but also a major invasion threat to all of Europe.

We seem to flip between mocking them and fearing them.

Modern war is weird

Idiots seem to keep pretending it's only when there are men with guns where they're not supposed to be

That puts a lot of pressure on humans to not-make-mistakes.
However, repeated "mistakes" are a pattern of hostility.
Russia is hostile.
And they keep on "oops"-ing and "plausible deniability"-ing their actions.
Which is a pattern of hostility and should be treated as a declaration of war

I have it on record that Trump says he wants Greenland, Canada, and now seems very eager to take Venezuela. Two sides, same coin.

It is almost like a hair-brained attempt at keeping imperialism popular and to normalize nations like Russia land grabbing.

Needless to say it was a bunch of bullshit to say that about your closest ally. The fact that he wasn't removed immediately after doing this was just another insult on the long line of treachery the current administration is embroiled in.

If Russia wanted peace, they could simply go home. They don't want peace they want land.
