Friends, finally after a long delay of 15 months, India has finally recieved its remaining three AH-64E Apache attack helicopters.

Yesterday on Tuesday of December 16, 2025, they arrived at the Hindon Air force station in Ghaziabad, now they are said to be formally inducted in the 451 Army Aviation Squadron at Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

The contract for this deal was signed in 2020 which was of staggering $600 million. The first initial barch of 3 units was recieved earlier 2025 and now with the delievery of final batch as well, India will have a complete operational squadron of AH-64E Apache attack helicopters.

The delievery of these Apaches was tried to be sabotaged as well, when Turkey did not give Flight Clearance over its skies for the plane carrying them, and made the Apaches stay grounded for nearly a week. As far as I believe, this may be due to the increasing closeness between India and Greece which troubles Turkey.

Recently, India with Greece conducted a bilateral maritime exercise in the Mediterranean Sea in September 2025, which increased Indian Influence in Mediterranean Sea which we can say was not taken positively by some countries.

However, the delieveries have been completed and lets hope for their quick formal induction.
