Here's the Announcement for the #FediWriMo Journaling January event:

The event schedule is as follows:

🖋️ Dates: Jan 1st - Jan 31st, 2026.
🖋️ Daily writing prompts will be supplied, but are optional.
🖋️ The goal is to write a minimum of three pages a day.
🖋️ Writing daily is more important than meeting the goal.
🖋️ Posting excerpts is optional, but encouraged.

If you are interested in participating:

➤ Sign up on https://feddit.online/ and join the FediWriMo Community, or

➤ Join !NaNoWriMo2@feddit.online from any Lemmy, Mbin, or PieFed instance.

➤ Follow nanowrimo2@feddit.online from Mastodon, GotoSocial or other platforms for daily prompts and updates.

➤ Use the event hashtag: #FediJournJan

I hope you decide to join us this January! More information to come soon.

I don't see the Mastodon thing for it yet. Has it been made?

Edit: I'm using uwu.social, so maybe that's been de-federated?

Do you mean the hashtag, or the account to follow?

I checked from Mastodon.social and was able to see the post under the hashtag, and when I searched for the profile I got:

I did a stupid. I added the @, and that caused it. Whoops.

It's confusing...I've had some platforms where I've had to use the @xxx@xxx format, and others don't.

FWIW - I've followed your uwu.social account from my mastodon.social and gotosocial.social accounts.

That's the one I use. I'll see if I can do it with my Misskey instance.

Edit: That's not possible. That instance was de-federated (that's alright, though).

Seems like a lot of Misskey instances got defederated for some silly reasons that I won't go into...but at least uwu isn't defederated.

uwu is a Mastodon instance that doesn't have many issues with some others.
