It's going to be a bad flu year. Cases are much higher than normal in the UK, Canada, Japan and China and they're rising at a steep rate in the US. If you haven't already, get vaccinated. It may not prevent you from getting the flu, but should reduce the severity. And even if you're okay with getting sick, spreading the germs enable it to reach the very young, the elderly, and the immunocompromised.

Just been through it and it was bad. Took the whole family down within hours. Panic, delirium, gut cramps, dizziness, complete loss of appetite, violent unstoppable coughing, just complete shut down and survive time. Lasted 3 weeks. Better now but we all have some minor residual bronchial stuff going on that is dragging on although very gradually improving. I'll never skip flu shots again.
