If anyone wants to be a mod, please comment under this post.

You should probably have a programming.dev account as moderation from different instances is a bit broken right now.

I can step in if needed/wanted. Some caveats and important info:

  1. I'm lazy and will remain on sh.itjust.works, if that's alright. Seems to work fine with the other communities I mod.

  2. I tend to moderate based on following the spirit of the community more than absolute adherence to the rules as written. Substance is more of important that syntax to me.

  3. I'm in UTC+2

  4. My favorite dinosaur is triceratops.

  5. I moderate a few other communities, and I've moderated a lot of other stuff (forums, et.al.) in the past.

Also happy to help mod, if you still want more.

  • I am also lazy and will remain on my instance, but I figure that many hands make light work, and I can coordinate with any programming.dev mods if any issues

  • I don't have much experience with modding, but I'm keen to learn. This means that I would be more inclined to take a light hand approach and/or check with fellow mods if uncertain

  • My timezone is UTC

  • I'm not a big dinosaur person, but I also think triceratops are cool
