The Creep Tapes season 2 has started and I remember who my villain-crush is.

Edit:

this man can terrorise and murder me any fucking day ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿฅต

Watching Mark Duplass being a creepy and chaotic murder goblin makes me very, very hot and I don't know why. But he's just as good in season 2, and I see season 3 is coming out next year.

I need to go back and watch the Creep films again.

Funnily, I saw Mark Duplass is in a current tv show with Jennifer Aniston (it's called The Morning Show), and he's won awards for his performance. I'm very happy for him, and part of me wants to watch it because Mark is a great actor, but I also don't him as anything but the Creep ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyway, that's my Sunday Morning Crush Gush. You may continue with your scheduled programming.

rained all night here

xclnt :)

Another lovely night of fuck all sleep. This time I woke up at 4:30 and my alarm goes off in 15. Might as well just get up and eat something.

This might help my sleep schedule though, unless I make up for the sleep debt tomorrow by sleeping in late.

A few pastries for me, and some sprout-inducing fertiliser for my grass eggs please.

Screams into the void.

What can I say? It's Saturday night.

I have just spent a small fortune on stuff to maintain my lawnmower. If these baby grasses ever actually sprout I will have nice sharp blades to trim them with. But despite diligent watering they seem disinterested in doing anything, it's been over a week and I am starting to fret. Maybe the grass eggs are not good? I might have to do a germination test.

Its a new estate??? Might be worth getting the soil tested for contaminants. Ballarat and surrounds is full of ex mines and ex industrial sites. Soil might just be dead and/or compacted too - so innoculating with worms will help a lot to aerate and heal the soil. Lawn needs a good topsoil to sprout evenly, so might take a bit of time to get going. You doing the right thing with compost/mulch on the beds though.

This area was farmland, cattle grazing primarily. So there shouldn't be anything too drastic (other than some knarly weeds). There was already grass growing there, I've just added some sandy loam on top to even things up a bit and sprinkled grass seeds on. It probably just needs a bit more time, and having turned back to rainy weather should help. The grass that was there is going great, it's just the bare patches where I raised the soil level and removed some weeds that I need the seeds to sprout in. Apparently it should be somewhere between 5 and 12 days for the first varieties to sprout, its about 9 days so far so it's probably just a bit slower than I would like.

Sounds like you've done all the right things. We've had some chilly days, which might affect the soil temperature so the upper end of the time period sounds about right. Tonight's nice warm rain should help a lot.
