Medieval art has really grown on me over time. They had all these memes like bunny knights and snail cavalry that feel modern yet are completely foreign to us

It's hard to tell which of these were common and widely known and used, and how many are just from one or two guys who were especially surreal and prolific. I'd love to know a bit more about where some of these came from.
