Do you believe that Putin woke up one day and decided "I'm gonna order the invasion of Ukraine, just because.", wars never happen like that. The one in Ukraine had a decades long prelude and 8 years of ukranian provocations.

The first "invasion" that has happened in ukraine was by the west, supporting fascists that murdered civilians and took over the country.
This is all public record. You can just look the sources up in the ukraine community on this server.
The west is the main perpetrator here. That is why i deliberately misunderstood your reactionary snap and pointed at the actual perpetrators.
I know this will probably fall on deaf ears as western propaganda is working well but I'll always give it a shot. Please give direct sources from ukraine an honest shot and you will see that the western narrative doesnt hold up at all.

You know, if I had convinced myself of that, it would be very easy to prove.
But thats not what happened.
I started by reading about the global south, about socialist countries, about cointelpro and other openly accessible programs. That is stuff that you can look up.
I kept seeing people claiming that russia wasnt just "invading monsters" but actually had a point with their interests being systematically hurt until things escalated.
And nobody says russia is not doing propaganda, or that ukraine somehow is the only "bad guy" here.
The point I - and a ton of others - are making is that there is a ton of additional stuff to this story which you should not discount.
Because if you reduce your point to a sentence, it would be: "all that russia says is propaganda and all of the people who are in ukraine atm who actually say the western narrative is false, are liars or bots."
Can you see how this is a terrible and easily refutable take?
Even the official western outlets agree that there are nazis in ukraine, that there are rapes being perpetrated by ukrainians, that civilians are being murdered by ukrainians, etc. Its not like any of this was "secret knowledge".
