Maybe it's time leftists (and even liberals) stopped placing their hope in an imagined future where Republicans wake up and see Trump for what he really is. It's never going to happen. If it was going to happen, it would have long ago.
It won't happen. Even Dems sided with Reps recently and gave them everything they wanted. You can't trust either one of these groups, though there are individuals within that you can trust.
If there is any kind of justice alive in this world, the leopards will start eating his face soon too.
