tell us, oh wise one, how else do you plan to keep children off social media? a tick box that asks if they are under 15?
Parenting
It's a recommendation for parents and just educates them on the dangers of social media for younger people.
Is that bad?
Yes
Nanny state.
Given the shit job parents are doing around social media, it fully justifies a nanny.
Agree. I am usually against stuff like this, but yeah, I think it's pretty justified here.
Please tell me about your unique name. How'd you come up with it? And why did such a unique name already exist on Lemmy MONTHS before you joined? Are you aware your name sake is accused of developing a massive bot army? Of course you are because that bot army supposedly targeted you, DonaldJMusk.
So are you the bot army owner or are you the user they targeted? Because there's no way you're not related to all this.
I'm not in Denmark. It's a world news post from AP news. Why would I be a robot just to post news links on Lemmy?! I'm not a robot and I've never even been in the Army or any branch of the military.
I post from this instance and from my lemmings.world account (which has the same username). That's not a robot either.
What does this have to do with my post?! I'm not in Denmark and I have nothing to do with the lawmakers there. I have no clue what you're talking about. I think you are misunderstanding the article, maybe? I had nothing to do with their ban on social media, I am just posting a link to the news article.
So no explanation why you collided with a problematic user name? Just misdirection and practiced ignorance?
The article I posted is within the guidelines of this news community. If you don't like the article, I don't know what to tell you. I don't even live in Denmark. Sorry if you do, but I do agree that social media should be limited for children under 15.
Absolutely. 👍🏻
