If they knew they could get away with it many would have done it sooner. Ford led the way with this in Ontario since he's spammed it almost casually and still gets re-elected easily. Another clear consequences of people being indifferent and sitting out elections.

Which is the whole thing about this. If this goes from just a Ontario thing to a Ontario and Alberta thing. Then this is going to be a Canada thing soon enough.
