Harassment and threats are obviously awful, but I find this settlement condition pretty fucked up. It feels a bit like a digital pillory, meant to humiliate.

I'm not familiar with the Japanese social media ecosystem, so take this with a grain of salt, but since they weren't named in the post, it doesn't seem like humiliation to me.

I wonder if it was a trade.

Like, do an anonymous interview so other people understand, and we'll lighten your sentence.

Wait… am I reading this correctly? She was sending threats to her oshi? That’s clearly someone with a very warped sense of reality and I doubt it’s related to the thought processes of the average harassing prick…
