His English tutor in London was an Irishman, and son of James Collins later mentioned that Lenin spoke with Rathmines accent. HG Wells remarked "Irish" accent in general.
edit: Connolly, not Collins. I accidentally created a Greek myth monster of two Irish politicians.
My own French teacher was a Georgia peach, so I pahrlay vew in puh fransay.

One of the things I have spent more time than I should looking for is audio of Lenin speaking English but don't think such a recording exists.

Almost… Better Off Ted is a funny TV show, but Better Off Dead is the movie.
In reference to the OP, a character learns to speak English after watching a show hosted by Howard Cosell who has a very specific voice.
People these days don't respond as well to a movie making light of suicide... But I'm not one of them, that move is amazing. Also...
