I read 1. Thinking it was from a star trek community, talking about captain Kirk. Then was really confused when I got to 2.

When the news hit "Kirk" was murdered, my brain instantly went to the actor that played Kirk also, then I opened up some articles and I was like, "oh, Charlie Kirk, phew."

Yeah hagiography is the word and it's cited as a "see also".

A lot of religious figures are guilty af of having hagiographies.
