Does that include Brazilians breaking the US embargo?
World News
Yes. This can be achieved if the companies that are willing to do trade with Cuba no longer trade with the US.
If you want to learn more on how vicious is the blockade, you can read this english report here -> https://lemmygrad.ml/post/9162009
Yeah i know how severe the embargo is, i mean exactly if they are willing do it.
Good that you know and I congratulate you for taking the time to read about the blockade!
As for the question if they are willing to, I just hope Brazil is. Now, that Brazilians are being hit by US interference, initiatives like this will certainly be welcomed.
Excellent. The more countries become willing to engage in bilateral or multilateral agreements without involving the US, the less Washington can throw its economic weight around to force concessions and bully smaller economies. The effectiveness of US sanctions have already been eroding, and the tariffs will only accelerate that.
Rare Lula win
I believe we will see more of this as an effect of USA tariffs. Why would anyone care about the American blockade when they are getting tariffs anyway? I'm hopeful this will lead to improving the material conditions of the global south.
I'm glad to see coming together to help each other have an option beyond crushing sanctions or crushing "deals."
