SSM police have clamped up to "protect the identity of the victim(s)". I'd say its a criminal matter.

Sault MPP Chris Scott is under conditions to reside at a Toronto address as part of the bail conditions for charges of assault and assault with a weapon.

Scott, 35, was arrested by Toronto Police yesterday for an incident that occurred earlier this month in Sault Ste. Marie.
