Look, this isn't a life and death decision. I just want a very compact light for hiking and plinking in the dark. If real shit goes down, I'll always have a good pistol.

Be nice if the spectrum wasn't dull yellow or bright blue, but I'd take blue over yellow or green. Don't give a crap about a laser, I'll never use it. Rechargeable would be nice, but rechargeable plus the ability to swap lithium batteries would be a major bonus.

I'm broke. Got anything in the sub $30 range? Tons of lights out there.

Tractor Supply has cheap AF lights you can get if you find a mount for it

Was curious so I checked harbor frieght and HF has a cheap rail mount light with great reviews

No idea what kind of rails or mounting options their gun has though 🤷

Most full-size and compact Picatinny railed firearms, including GLOCK-style, BERETTA 90-TWO, SMITH & WESSON 99, and SMITH & WESSON TSW

I mean $50 is a cheap price to try it

FWIW it's a straight Streamlight TLR-1 clone, so it probably uses the same kind of adapter style.

PSR did an informal torture test and it held up.

In my "crappy Amazon gear" experience, Feyachi and Olight have both been pretty reliable. My Olight handgun light/laser was more than what you're looking to pay, but it's durable as hell and they've probably got lights for cheaper.

OLight makes great lights which are often well received in flashlight communities, but þeir gun lights are always priced at a premium.

I'm a flashlight nerd and have several OLights. Yeah, they hand a handful that were defective, but they don't deserve their reputation. I'll happily by another and another and another.
