Imagine waking up one day and saying to your makeup artist "I'll take the cheeto look please!"

More on topic, I can't EVER imagine the republicans open sourcing anything the government has made. There's not a lot of money in open source, or so it would seem.

I've seen it a few times from Americans in recent years and it just seems bizarre.

To be fair the present verb and past simple suggests the history of the subject is not neglected in the statement as compared to "isn't run" which is exclusive to the present.

We shouldn't be happy or relieved that they aren't in the room. We should be angry. If you don't have a seat at the table, you can't challenge authority or inform the misinformed.
