Reading it, Anthropic guy sounds to me more like an asshole which seems really common for these LLM CEOs. I generally don't care about CEOs in the hardware tech world. Generative AI ones, not even a year of trying to be likeable, just straight to cartoon banker unlikable. All of them

However, in recent statements, Amodei has reiterated that the company has a model that allows for everyone to win with AI.

I wonder if Amodei genuinely believes this or he is parroting company PR copytext ..

While I think the vast majority of corporate executives are malicious and dishonest (lets not forget that life isn't a Hollywood movie with Darth Vader's boss shouting "Let's do evil!!!"), I am sure that there is a big helping of self-beneficial delusion.
