A somewhat large magpie sitting in the rain on a brown wood fence. Dark leaves from a tree sit behind the wet & shaggy bird.
Depending on where you are in the world, that's likelier to be a raven with a form of albinism (vitiligo?) than a magpie, IMHO.
It's missing the band on its beak, for instance, and the main part of the feathers ("rachi") is white, too.
I'm curious, that's for sure!
What country? It's not like any magpie I've seen, they have white across the back.
It appears to be a crow or raven.

I can't shake the feeling that it looks a little raven like. The head is big, the body is rounder the beak seems really big for a magpie. It just looks weird to me. Im obsessed.

They are both Corvids!
TIL! I saw the photo and immediately went to wikipedia to confirm that. It looks clearly like a corvid in this photo.
