The more I hear about this Madueke deal the more concerned I get. Seems like there are a lot of red flags with the player in this instance.

He can play on the left but doesn't want to and prefers to play on the right.
We need another left winger (although Eze can play there).
He would be extra competition for Nwaneri and probably push him down the pecking order on one of the free positions where he doesn't have much competition.
Nwaneri is already dragging his heels on a be contact because of match time concerns.
He would cost a lot relative for what we are getting.

I'd rather us abandon this one and move on to another candidate.

Nwaneri talk is bullshit lol, it's just agent nonsense. There's like 4 teenagers that played more than Nwaneri last season. And in fairness we'd be signing Madueke primarily as RW backup to Saka. That being said, still not a fan of the signing.

I'd cap out at like 25 tbh, we shouldn't be paying that much for a backup to Saka. I'd be a bit annoyed if he cost more than we'll recoup from Nelson + Vieira

I think the only one who really was great value was Jorgi...Kai was a bit too expensive

Kai was a bit expensive on first sight but honestly when you look at what attackers go for these days I think it's fine. I'm more uncomfortable with his wages than how much we paid for him tbh. But also he's proved to be a good signing nevertheless.

Really wish we could have signed Benayoun on as permanent from them. He was quality back in the day.
