Stop Killing Games:

The consumer movement to stop game publishers from intentionally destroying older games with kill switches.

The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

It's NOT done. It needs one million valid EU signatures. There'll be people who signed it out of the EU, there'll be signatures that can't be verified. Every "extra" vote gives us an additional buffer to offset any votes find to be invalid.

Signed it, I hope the EU can make us proud once again. This should at least be included in planed obsolescence laws, that can have provisions against both hardware and software being declared dead with no consequences.
