Maybe the only upside of this NATO meeting is that the world is now able to see the walking clown show that is Mark Rutte

[โ€“] bennieandthez@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

He is the walking example of a career politician being a glorified ass kisser. It should be an eye opener to NATO countries citizens on who is the real boss.

Currently having a sticker war with some nazi shit in my hood. They keep placing stickers that say stuff like: hand in hand back to your own land. The weird thing is that these are Dutch org stickers for some reason.

Anyway they are very unfortunate that I have probably a thousand commie and antifascist stickers that I can keep placing on top of it. I just hope to catch the person in the act one day.

I'm really toying with the idea of moving to Utrecht. I fell in love with the city, and would like to live there. Although I'm not in close contact with people who live there and the official housing site only lets me seek housing in my own area. Gotta love the housing crisis. I don't mind staying in Amsterdam but want to leave Utrecht open as an option.

Utrecht is very nice but ridiculously expensive (like Amsterdam). Used to hang out there a lot. Are you still a student? Because then renting a single room might be easier.

Yeah Utrecht is expensive sadly. If I could find a place which isn't ridiculously expensive, I would probably have to move quite far away.

And yeah I'm a student, so student housing is an option but it would be nice to have something for after school

So today I will join the national strike in Brussels against the government reforms, against the militarisation, for our workers rights. 7th strike in a row (for me at least) this year. Many more to come it seems. But we will not give up.

[โ€“] bennieandthez@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

a meeting to discuss how they are going to do absolutely nothing.

[โ€“] SlayGuevara@lemmygrad.ml 9 points 1 day ago

I wouldn't call giving 5 percent of the GDP of 34 countries to the US nothing

The Israeli ambassador came to visit Belgian parliament today for some reason and one of our MPs went off on her saying they are a genocidale state and that their lies to everyone will not prevent a Free Palestine and that their leaders will end up where they belong: in jail

Our party has a yearly festival and on this edition one of the government officials of the neolib party responsible for retirement reform, an enormously sensitive topic, will do a debate with one of our party members.

Kudos to him for daring to do this but he might seriously be attacked lol

I had a dream that I was on vacation in the DPRK

[โ€“] KrupskayaPraxis@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You have better dreams than me. Last night I dreamt that Mike from Breaking Bad was showing me porn on his phone.

[โ€“] rainpizza@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

When you make that dream come true, don't forget to share pics with us comrades in Lemmygrad

[โ€“] SlayGuevara@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I would love to visit one day but I will never convince my partner to come with me lol and I don't think I'll spend my only weeks of holiday a year to go alone

[โ€“] rainpizza@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 2 days ago

You can tell your partner to follow JustCherry videos to see what the DPRK is like and if your partner does feel interested you can check for deals with Koryo group.

From inside the former US embassy in Tehran, Iran.

Pictures of international revolutionary leaders.

1 in 4 Dutch people are now afraid to wear sun screen because they think it gives them cancer. Instead they just bake in the giant ball of radiation in the sky without protection.

I guess this is Darwinism but the stupidity of so many people is frightening.

[โ€“] commiewolf@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Tell me Dutchman, is it true that Dutch people are among the least likely in all of Europe to wash their hands after they use the bathroom?

[โ€“] SlayGuevara@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 2 days ago

Yes I think that is correct unfortunately. I wouldn't even be surprised if that was somehow rooted in white supremacy or something.
