When it's 5am on the last day of the fiscal calendar and I expire everyone's passwords so they have to setup a new password (can't match any previous passwords)... can't they see I'm doing it for their own good?

Yes, people too often are ungrateful and can't see that you teach them a vital life lesson: don't postpone the important work until "the last day of the fiscal calendar". You should be more lenient and forgiving with /home/* dwellers. They are so unprivileged and immature. Poor stupid creatures.
