You should get a weird pizza to celebrate!

When was it created to have such a high definition screen? I've never that kind before.

This is the stern machine from 2020

Thanks, have fun, I'm jealous.

I’m not OP, and don’t own one of these but thank you! I will try to have fun regardless:)

I think The Wizard of Oz, a Jersey Jack machine, was the first in 2013. Now they pretty much all have that. This TMNT is a Stern from 2020. There’s also a TMNT from 1991 by Data East, but it isn’t a great machine.

The newer TMNT is a really cool fun game though. OP you can enjoy that for a long time!

I would sell a kidney for a working Medieval Madness pinball game in my place.

Not my kidney, my brothers... A kidney is a kidney

This is how adulting should be done. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Pinball machines are awesome! But, are they easy to maintain?

[–] SplashJackson@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 weeks ago

How did you get this?

[–] watson387@sopuli.xyz 2 points 3 weeks ago

Nice! Looks good. I've never played that one.

How did you go about it? Wife and I want a pinball but the orices here are north of $8k AUD which is a bit much

Yeah real pinball machines are stupidly expensive. Some old ones can be found cheaper but they're usually pretty trash.

Another option is to DIY a simulator yourself. You take an old tv, build the cabinet yourself with the TV placed where the pinball bits would be, add arcade buttons on the side etc.

You plug in a computer with the software that simulates any pinball you want. My brother has one like this and it's pretty great, not exactly like a real one of course but you get to play any table you want and the whole build was a fraction of the cost of a real one.

I want to go to there.

They have this exact machine at my local arcade! Out of all the ones they have, this one is my favorite.

Looks cool, congrats!

Semi-analog video game.
