Imagine putting your name on AI slop. That doesn't even make legal sense, you can't claim to have "made" it. Since you didn't, effectively nobody did.

Imagine watermarking AI slop so no one steals your stolen work
Yikes, AI-slob.
Oh, someone is so protective about their AI generated meme they watermarked it?
It's an interesting case... the dryer image looks AI-generated (bc of the weird controls at the top) and the little hamster-outfit also looks generated (bc of the belt ornament) but it looks like several elements were manually edited together:
- the hamster
- the hamster-outfit
- the green outfit in the dryer
- the dryer image
Note the lighting differences in the hamster-outfit and in the green outfit.
CAVEAT: I'm not familiar with the latest AI-generation tools, maybe this is just what it looks like now. Also, I'm not defending this "nurungi hamster" person, they coulda just taken a picture of a dryer.
Remember AI steals work from artists and puts their livelihood at risk. Let's not use this nonsense.
Aren't memes just taking images without paying royalties anyway? I agree with you in principle, but dumb memes aren't the thing that'll bring down artists.
