Unfortunately true. He's worse than Stroll.
Lindblad turns 18 during the summer break
Red Bull have already submitted a request for an exception for him from the FIA. Months ago in fact.
I'm not sure if I'm tallying up his points correctly but I don't think he has the super license points to come in this year. He needs to finish F2 in the top 10 to meet the F1 requirements for next year.

Looks like he barely got over 40 so I probably missed a few points somewhere because I had him at 38.
I feel bad for him as a person as he seems like a nice lad, and empathize with the pressure of his last name as much like for Schumacher it must be a tough burden to carry.
Still, this was hardly unexpected and if you look at what he showed in the junior categories you could even argue he got more of a shot than most at his level of talent.
I'll believe it when I actually see it. Journalists keep announcing it without the team confirming it again and again
