Climb the Art Museum steps and GO INSIDE. It's a beautiful museum with a ton of famous art from many different eras. The Barnes has a ton of incredible art, too, mostly impressionism.

Most of the history stuff is probably obvious, but I took a tour into the tower of city hall that was pretty interesting. I don't know if they still do it.

Get a cheesesteak, sure, but get a roast pork sandwich. If you go to Reading Terminal Market, get it from Dinic's. While you're there, get a Beiler's doughnut.

Most of what I like is not touristy stuff, I guess. There are some really nice parks and neighborhoods I like to hang out in. I can recommend coffee shops.

If we’re talking touristy stuff, then the Art Museum and the Liberty Bell

Cheesteak, Franklin institute, Art Museum, The Rodin museum, Museum of Natural Sciences, the food ( along with the cheesesteaks, must be mentioned twice), soft pretzels. I miss my city!

Ah yeah! The Franklin institute is a classic. And don't worry, your city misses you too :)

I’ve never done the lantern festival, I guess I should make an effort to visit this summer. I’ve also been meaning to check out the Rodin museum for an eternity. Maybe I can make a day of it and do the Rodin before heading over to the lantern fest.

That sounds like fun day to me!

I realize I haven’t shared any of my favorite activities. I’ve had annoying interactions with their security staff, but on nice days the view from the rooftop at the Cira Green is fantastic. Great spot to sit in the grass with a cold beer.

Wissahickon Park is always nice and relaxing too.
