I love this show more than most I’ve ever watched. But there’s something I just can’t get past— How the hell does Jones keep getting cigarettes? Where TF do they come from? For all of the decades after the plague that she lives/works at the facility, where do they come from? Because, after 30-aught years, she would have smoked all of the cigarettes in her immediate vicinity, requiring multi-day trip for scav parties (which she also doesn’t have) to go hunt down more.

of all of the crazy things in this show, this is the one without a rational explanation given in the show.

Wait, 12 Monkeys is a tv show now?

I knew the OG short film La Jetée (28 minutes). Then of course the Bruce Willis movie.

Kind of blows my mind that they expanded it to 4 seasons of television...

the show is… different than the film. and much better. (Edit: I still love the film, but the show is sooooo much better, and it’s completely unconnected.

I only discovered about a week ago, hence the binge. it’s amazing. it was described to me as “the best time travel show ever” and “one of the best shows ever”. That was not an undersell— the show is amazing!

the show was written/produced by Terry Metals, known for saving the 3rd season of Star Trek: Picard, and the show has a lot of actors who later turn up in that show.

Yeah the show somehow is actually really good. I kind of want to rewatch it now, haven't watched it since it was airing.
