I got this FZ6 as my first bike 2022, and at that point I thought I'd swap it out for a different bike within a year.

A pair of heated grips, a windshield, a top box, an upgraded seat, and more than 10000 km later I don't see myself getting rid of this anytime soon...

Beautiful ... I'm looking at ten foot snow banks right now and wishing for spring.

More pictures would make us snow bound riders feel better.

Love the baggage set up and the raw front end with no major faring .... I always preferred just riding something that showed two wheels and an engine.

A real beauty!

Thanks! I feel for you, it's cold here too but not nearly as cold as you have it I presume. The posted picture was in 2 degrees C. Hope the snow melts for you soon!

Here are some more pictures :)

Beautiful .... it also makes me happy when I see a big arrangement of saddlebags and ƙit attached to the bike, it's always a sign that you're going somewhere. Thanks for this.

Sweet story! Can't wait to get my first bike, hopefully this summer

You won't regret it! :D

How do you have your saddlebags attached? They look filled to the brim and more sturdy/stable than just a throw over attachment.

They actually are a throw over attachment, attached to each other with two velcro straps and each bag attached with two straps to the bike. I usually fill them with clothes and other lightweight stuff, so they probably look heavier than they are.

When i had saddlebags on mine i had a pair of metal contraptions screwed to either side to prevent the bags from sagging onto the wheel.

Got the same model a few years back, got more than 100 000 km on it so far, though 16 countries.
I have no plans to sell it.

Nice bike! I need to get myself a center stand too.
