The horrors persist, but so do I.

I'm the whore that persists

Girls, is this the progesterone? So, last week I was having a pretty great week- I saw The Colors Within with a friend, got my nails done by an amazing tech, playing soo much of the new Infinity Nikki update- spending nights coordinating outfits with a friend and taking photos, and just overall shining...and then ouch! My heart turned into an absolute storm, yearning for a deeper, more romantic, connection with someone. Like, I've been single for sooo long, and while I don't love that, I was kind of used to my feelings; overnight, my emotions, and how they manifested completely shifted. My heart alternates between heavy with melancholy to fluttering when thinking about a connection with another person. I don't know what these feelings are, and they are so intense- ahhhh!

when I first started progesterone it was a bit like falling in love again with my partner, very intense - so I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be the prog 😅

I thiiink I do prefer this over the completely blunted/ambivalent feelings I had before, but the lows are hitting hard 🥹 heated blanket + ice cream + mood lights are super helping 😌

(still in HS)
Currently emptying out my closet so I can have my own space for feminine clothing other than a drawer. Currently my cat has her food and items in there, as well as a lot of junk lol.
Next week my school has a "dress like your celebrity crush" day and my college-lit teacher is giving extra credit if you participate, so I'm thinking of using it as an excuse to judge how public reaction would be if I were to wear feminine outfits. What celebrity just wears an oversized hoodie either skirt or leggings? (depending on confidence)

My makeup game has improved to the point where I think I look better with it, which means I want to use it more, which means I get more practice. Still can't get eyeliner to stick at all, though. Meh, guess I'll just use powder.

Oh, and I've started getting random compliments on my nails! It's so nice 😊 Presumably that means I at least come across as safe enough to not be a creep about it, even if not passing. I want to work on my outfits and hair too now.

Virtuous spirals FTW!
