Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

Fun fact: I’m not a meme hoarder at all (I have 4 in total) but I just randomly saved this one on my PC over a decade ago. So I guess my time has finally come. momo-resolute

There's nothing wrong with using neural nets as one tool to realize your creative vision.

Memes and shitposts are probably one of the most ethical use cases for AI

Though these videos are unironically some of the best uses of generative AI I've seen. They clearly take their time with these things and don't just lazily post whatever half-melted slurry the model spits out.

The comedy relies entirely on that uncanny photorealism and I don't think they would work in some other medium

I see so many crappy AI art made by chuds, I'm glad to finally see one of such quality.

There's a lot of them. It's new the past month or two.

Oh hey, this person is still making videos. I remember their Bavarian Breaking Bad and other similar AI mashups from last year and it's interesting to see how much the tech has evolved. The characters in those older videos couldn't do much more than stand around and slightly move their heads

I lost it at Comrade Ha-Ru flying on a missile.
