Green darling? Toyota is a car company. Even with fully electric drivetrains, personal vehicles are an environmentally terrible way to move people around.

Of course, but they were the first company with a popular hybrid car in the Prius in a time where there weren't really hybrids or electrics, which is what they were getting at with that.
