Upload Download. Many loads are happening.

I haven’t checked internet speed since moving into this house. Is 54 mbps any good?

Is that upload or download? By Australian standards, that's acceptable. 50 up is about as good as you'll get for now. 50 down isn't the best, but should be fine for one or two people who only make light usage of it mixed with the occasional Netflix

You probably have room to upgrade though, unless you're on truly ancient technology

Thank you. It’s download speed. We got an offer to install FTTP and I didn’t follow up on it. Maybe I’ll check it out.

Mostly laundry in this house. Internet speed irrelevant.

Yeah I was referring to this morning’s thread comments, but that got me thinking about what I’m paying for versus what I’m actually getting with the download speeds.
