Presumably washing his hair was not one of them.
Right? And hey I get dying hair to look a little better, but that dye job is horrible. Not a great look to be talking about longevity! lmao
I'm torn with my attitude about Bryan Johnson. I do think it's great that he's doing all this stuff on himself so we can watch what happens. But there's something about him that just gives me a bad vibe.
Maybe it's his vacant stare or something, but ugh, he just seems creepy. Just my bias tho, cuz maybe he's an awesome guy.
But I wouldn't want to look like him! I'm def gonna check out the documentary tho.
I don't think there's any educational value to what he's doing because he's one person, just a single data point. We can't generalize from that, we do experiments in a controlled way on many more people.
Fair point. I guess I should say I think it's more interesting than educational.
I’d never heard of him before, but now I’m curious as well. Thank for posting! Although at $2mil a year I don’t think I’m going to be adopting his regimen any time soon. Is there a $2 a year version?
Not that low, but kind of tbh. He intentionally has a very repetitive diet to reduce analysis paralysis and unnecessary (to him) decision making. All of the recipes can be found here: https://protocol.bryanjohnson.com/Recipe-Guide-by-Zero

like yeah he is doing crazy stuff like gene therapy and nearly a hundred supplements, but also some much more mundane things.
He's a big advocate of sunscreen too. His dental and skin aren't totally bonkers to me. Though I'm not a fan of products like that (just cheap and don't like reoccuring costs).
