Garlic bread with basil, duck pate, apple, bubbly water.

Bonus, a friend of ours in Eugene Oregon had a couple pork shoulders he asked advice on how to smoke & made pulled pork (carnitas) tacos....this is the result:

Hawaiian pizza with danish mild salami, lots of honey ham added and mushrooms.

Guaranteed to send me into a food coma tonight.

We're doing pizza too. Salami and Goats cheese for me, chicken and bacon for the child and a kransky and bacon concoction for the man. And a big cheesy garlic bread because why not. And there's leftovers for tomorrow.

One day I’m going to properly sit down and work out the cost of a pizza if I made it from buying a plain base.

I suspect the cheese might be the most costly of components.

I went to a supermarket deli today to pick up some reasonably cheap meats and mushrooms were on sale as well.

Edit: your pizzas sound so yummy as well.

Chicken souvlaki. The wrap I am planning to use is frozen and may not be in the best condition, I may end up with souvlaki guts everywhere.

It worked out ok - I usually find bought pita bread to be too dry and it cracks, so I heated it in the oven wrapped in a damp tea towel. It worked perfectly, it wrapped up fine without breaking up at all.

I only took a pre-wrap photo, as once it was wrapped I was too busy shoving it into my mouth!

If you buy lebanese bread from a bakery then it's usually fresh and it doesn't crack.

Sandwiches. Nobody really hungry after a movie watching day with popcorn chips and chocolate.

That's what I had. Ham, cheese and chutney.
