A guy at work I talk to on occasion has been struggling with his job lately. Skilled job with a very low wage and some other stuff. Everybody at work has been struggling with this.

Today he found out I handed in my notice. He asked about it and I was honest, I wanted more money and I was offered a lot more plus some other benefits so I took it.

I found out that in the afternoon he handed in his resignation. He walked out and doesn't have a job lined up.

It took me a year and a half and hundreds of applications to get this job. I didnt tell him that bit.

I'm terrified for this guy, he has kids to feed and a mortgage.
