Never read the manga or source if any exists, but I fucking loved this episode.

It reminded me of Dead Leaves, but with a more coherent plat and dialogue.

Left more in-depth thoughts in the other thread, but I'm giving this premiere a very mixed 3/5 - what would have been an easy 5/5 fumbled with a large focus on sexual assault. I'll probably watch an episode or two more to see if it rights its course....

I saw the 3-episode premiere. The sexual assault scenes are limited to that episode. You should be fine.

Not a fan of how it looks but I really enjoyed it!
