If you go over that limit, there won't be any kind of indicator/message saying so. If you try to submit a post, you will get a forever loading icon, and the post will never be submitted.
So make sure to check your character count.

It's definitely helpful to know that there's no indicator to let you know if you've gone over the limit, so I'll make sure to check my character count before submitting backpack battles
