He isn't gold at all! Goldfinches around here are yellow-gold, with black patches. They have beautiful little "songs" too. They don't really sing, but they always make these cute chirping, warbling sounds while fluttering around our feeders. I would share a picture, but for some reason I can't share pictures from my camera through the Lemmy app, only from my downloads folder.
