Using a stick on picture hook. Picture is only 2.5 kg. I'm nonetheless saying my prayers and hoping this stays up in the long term ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜‚.

I have a big wooden framed painting/print handing up on a stick-on picture hook, must be a good 3-5kgs. And it's been up the whole 4 years I've been here, no issues.

That said, at my previous place in the CBD I had it hanging up on the same sort of hook (different brand iirc), and it fell and smashed my partners widescreen monitor. We had only been together for a year and a bit, and we were in lockdown, I thought for sure he was gonna leave me haha.

I use the hooks from woolies, I forget the name. But yeah, 4 years and it's fine

Honestly feel like it's Russian roulette for these things. For at least a week I've put cushions on the floor under the frame so if it does fall something will soften the impact.
