Update: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/microsoft-outage-affects-bing-copilot-duckduckgo-and-chatgpt-internet-search/

It's also important to note that ChatGPT internet search and DuckDuckGo are experiencing similar issues because they use the Bing API.

The Animatrix may have had that line, but it was first said by Morpheus in The Matrix.

Morpheus: You’ve been living in a dream world, Neo. This is the world as it exists today… Welcome.. to the desert.. of the real. We have only bits and pieces of information but what we know for certain is that at some point in the early twenty-first century all of mankind was united in celebration. We marveled at our own magnificence as we gave birth to AI.

Neo: AI? You mean artificial intelligence?

Morpheus: A singular consciousness that spawned an entire race of machines. **We don’t know who struck first, us or them. But we know that it was us that scorched the sky. **

I realized that about ten seconds after I wrote it and deleted the comment. How did you see it so fast? :)

I can still see your comment. I don't think that you deleted it (unless you later undeleted it).

The delete probably just took a bit to make its way to your instance

I think your post said "5 seconds ago" when I wrote my reply. Just lucky that I saw it I guess.

And no worries. I loved the Animatrix, but the part where Morpheus is telling Neo about the real world is one of my faviourte parts of the movie so I had to say something.
