This is telling us more about his beliefs and character tho.
What he essentially told people is that believes signs that prohibit POC from establishments hold the same gravity and moral depravity as "no pets" signs.
Not to defend the Zionist, but he's referring to a single sign, not separate ones.
I thought they were real because I had seen similar images before, but when I went to look it up this article is saying that they were a popular myth so maybe not.

I googled the same and got a bunch of replies discrediting that letter - that specific sign seems to be real, and there were plenty of variants (eg "no Irish no Coloureds").
