Nooo. YouTube thinks it's fully blocking ad blockers. In reality nothing's changed.

I would not say that. Nothing has changed for you and me.

The barrier for blocking them has once again raised a little bit. When you are talking about hundreds of millions of users, that leads to significant peel off. They don’t need to stop everybody, they just need to stop enough people or make it enough of a pain that “the average user” just gives up and accepts the status quo.
