i have more food than i have had in a long time and it feels good to not worry so much. so many of us are on the street and it's so much bad news that me having a whole week of food, without working, is a win for all of us. feeling like life is possible. โ๐ปโง๏ธ
Aww thank you for checking in. I'm getting much closer now to getting out of this.
I made contact late last week with another lady that is also looking for a new place, so we have been apartment shopping and are applying to one that is down the street from a local queer hangout. I am pretty excited but it's all up to whether they accept my meager information. I had to drain a retirement account, and that took me a long time because until the other day it still had my deadname.
But even if we don't get that place, I'm hoping we will get one soon.

thank you for the update. im grateful youre looking for optimism and have another person to work with. im okay enough for today and im focusing on things that matter. i appreciate our connection.
Unfortunately didn't get the first place we applied for. So I'm feeling pretty sad. But we are still working on it. And I'm trying really hard to stay balanced. Trying to stay positive.
hope is a precious resource. i know. staying positive might not be something you can do and that's okay. if you can eat, hydrate, and sleep it will be easier. even if just the tiniest bit. positivity is a long-game. there are lots of lost battles for me too. it will come. hang on. you can let other folks believe and hope for you too. you can turn that over for a while if you need. i had to do this a lot. letting go is not the same as giving up.
