Stop Killing Games:
The consumer movement to stop game publishers from intentionally destroying older games with kill switches.
The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

I buy most of my games on GOG, I don't get disks yet those games are mine, if GOG disappeared tomorrow I would still own them and could still play them (given I keep backups of installers).
I never had a console so I don't know how it works, but if Sony ever decided that to play your disks you need an online connection they control, having disks won't help you at all.
We need to fight the right to ownership, that doesn't depend on having disks.
You can have discs and force Sony to upgrade to GOG level of customer service.
Sony almost never gives out refunds while Steam gives out refunds within 2 hours of gameplay.
The PlayStation store is region-locked you can’t ever change that and Sony deletes your account after 36 months of inactivity.
Publishers can also delete your PlayStation games from your library.
