The better question is why do you exclusively bring reddit content to lemmy/piefed?

Mmmm yes exactly what Lemmy needs, more sourceless text on images

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Does it? You'd rather scroll Facebook slop than do something else?

[–] Tja@programming.dev -1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Yes, at least there is something to discuss...

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I'll just create a bot that posts differents colors every 10 minutes and and we can discuss the colors.

More content is better right?

[–] Tja@programming.dev 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

If the colors are in the top 100 of reddit, sure.

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Reddit should not be your gauge for what content is worth consuming especially in 2026. Set your standards higher.

[–] Tja@programming.dev 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

If I set my standards higher I would definitely not be on lemmy. As shit as reddits leadership is and the amount of ads, and all the other problems, the content is much better than here.

Like no comparison. Even soccer, a sport with a billion fans, doesn't have a decent community here. Let alone formula1, woodworking, chess and a number of other hobbies. Thank God I like Linux, at least that is active. But not even a ThinkPad community, and I'm sure half of the people here are on thinkpads...

If you like soccer so much, why are you moving the goalposts? We're talking about garbage posts like this here

[–] Tja@programming.dev 0 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I like this garbage post better than "nothing". Because there is a lack of content.

PS: There are no goalposts in soccer, which you maybe would know if there was enough soccer content on lemmy

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is your bot.

PS: There are no goalposts in soccer, which you maybe would know if there was enough soccer content on lemmy

I am willing to pretend I didn't see this if you want to quickly Google that and subsquently come up with a new insult.

[–] Tja@programming.dev 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

You're right to question my bot. That was a genius idea!

We really need more soccer content on lemmy, people out here really think soccer is about goalposts...

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

The irony of turning this into an argument about whether goal posts exist in soccer is really, really funny

You're free to start a soccer community and make those goal posts :)

[–] Tja@programming.dev 1 points 1 day ago

I wonder who started that...
